The CPL Newsroom presented by Volkswagen returns for a Monday night episode after Week 14 in the CPL, which was full of twists, turns and controversy. Charlie O'Connor-Clarke hosts as Benedict Rhodes, Mitchell Tierney and Alexandre Gangué-Ruzic break down all four games from the weekend.

CanMNT vs. USA Gold Cup review + CPL Week 13 wrap-up

Another Monday, another CPL Newsroom presented by Volkswagen. Charlie O'Connor-Clarke is the host this week, as the show kicks off with a roundtable on the Canadian men's national team's penalty shootout loss to the United States at the Gold Cup -- with Charlie, Mitchell Tierney, and Alexandre Gangué-Ruzic.

After that, Charlie, Mitchell, AGR and Benedict Rhodes (who also gives his thoughts on the Canadian women's national team's World Cup squad) break down the action across all four Canadian Premier League matches in Week 13, as Vancouver, Cavalry, Atlético Ottawa and Forge all banked big wins.

Week 12: Drama in Halifax & Langford + CanMNT Gold Cup roundtable

The CPL Newsroom presented by Volkswagen returns for a Tuesday evening show, where the gang begins by wrapping up the Canadian men's national team's group stage finale vs. Cuba at the Gold Cup. Kristian Jack, Alexandre Gangué-Ruzic, Mitchell Tierney and Charlie O'Connor-Clarke discuss the Gold Cup campaign so far and then set up Sunday night's quarter-final against the United States.

In the second half of the show, the crew also breaks down all four CPL matches from the weekend, including Halifax Wanderers' dramatic late win over Forge, an entertaining Pacific-Atlético Ottawa draw, and away wins for Cavalry and York United over Valour and Vancouver, respectively.

Week 11: Forge-Ottawa 7-goal thriller; Cavalry, Valour win at home (ft. Tommy Wheeldon Jr.)

After an outstanding Week 11 in the Canadian Premier League, the CPL Newsroom presented by Volkswagen reconvenes to recap a wild weekend. Kristian Jack hosts and is joined by Charlie O'Connor-Clarke, Benedict Rhodes and Alex Gangué-Ruzic to break down the three games from the weekend, including Forge FC and Atlético Ottawa's insane seven-goal thriller at Tim Hortons Field.

Plus, Cavalry FC manager Tommy Wheeldon Jr. joins live to chat about his side's progress in 2023 so far.

Week 10: Pacific clear at the top; Halifax, Valour, Ottawa all win at home

Week 10 of the Canadian Premier League has come and gone, which means the CPL Newsroom presented by Volkswagen is back to recap another electric quartet of matches. Charlie O'Connor-Clarke hosts this week as he's joined by Mitchell Tierney, Benedict Rhodes and Alexandre Gangué-Ruzic to discuss big wins on home turf for Valour FC, Halifax Wanderers, Atlético Ottawa and Pacific FC, plus a brief pause for reflecting on the Canadian men's national team's Nations League defeat to the United States.

The CPL Newsroom presented by Volkswagen is here for a special Friday live show to celebrate the Canadian men's national team advancing to the Concacaf Nations League Final! Charlie O'Connor-Clarke is joined by Mitchell Tierney and, live from Las Vegas, Kristian Jack to recap Canada's win over Panama, and preview this Sunday's final against the United States.

Week 9: Halifax triumphant; York, Pacific keep climbing (ft. Patrice Gheisar)

With Week 9 in the Canadian Premier League now in the books, the CPL Newsroom presented by Volkswagen is back as usual to recap some major shifts in the league table.

Halifax Wanderers are on the board with their first win of the year, while Pacific FC climbed to the top of the table with a gutsy win at Forge FC. York United, meanwhile, stretched their unbeaten run to five with a win over Atlético Ottawa on Pride Night, while Cavalry FC took all the spoils over Vancouver FC at home. Plus, Halifax head coach Patrice Gheisar joins Kristian Jack to discuss his side's big day on Saturday.

Week 8: Pacific win 9-goal B.C. Derby, Ottawa victorious at home (ft. Ollie Bassett)

After a record-breaking Week 8 in the CPL, the Newsroom presented by Volkswagen is back to discuss 18 goals across five games including nine in the B.C. Derby. Kristian Jack is joined by Charlie O'Connor-Clarke, Mitchell Tierney, Benedict Rhodes and Alex Gangué-Ruzic -- as well as special guest, Atlético Ottawa star Ollie Bassett -- to kick off the month of June and discuss the happenings around the league.

Week 7: Henry the hero for Forge, York United take down Cavalry

The Canadian Premier League has officially reached the quarter mark of the 2023 season, and the CPL Newsroom presented by Volkswagen is back to recap all the action. Charlie O'Connor-Clarke hosts this week with KJ away, and the usual crew of Benedict Rhodes, Alexandre Gangué-Ruzic and Mitchell Tierney returns to discuss fascinating wins for Forge FC and York United, as well as some close-fought draws in the two games in B.C.
